This year, my birthday gift to myself was the Norvina palette. This is one of those things that I totally did not need but I had been dreaming about this palette since it dropped last summer.
The quality is amazing (it does have some fall out but that doesn’t bother me in the slightest). I find that all the colours have really good pigmentation and they’re super easy to blend.
This is by no means a crazy, bright palette but it is different for me. I tend to lean towards nudes and pinks. This palette contains colours that I’ve never really worked with before but I have quickly fallen in love with, mainly all the purple shades.
For this post, I’ve put together three different looks using this palette for my eyeshadow. I am not an expert so I have no doubt that these are things anyone can do. My hope is that if you’re thinking of getting this palette but are unsure of what to do with it, this might give you some inspiration.
LOOK ONE: DAY TIME CASUAL
The first look is sort of the basic look that I’ve been going for on a daily basis. It’s warm and a little glittery but not over the top for the office. I used the shade base all over my life, incense then blended into the crease, with dreamer in the middle of my lid and in the inner corner for a high light.
I followed it up with Fenty’s Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner in Cuz I’m Black and Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara to top it all off. I did not put on lipstick, opting for a basic lip balm.
LOOK TWO: COTTON CANDY
I call this look Cotton Candy because the colours make me think of cotton candy. It’s bright and fun and perfect for spring. I put the shade base all over my lid, love blended into the crease, with soul on the outer corners and lower lash line, then I used wild child on my lid as a highlight and in the inner corner
On my lips, I used the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in the shade 100 Philosopher and topped it all off with Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.
LOOK THREE: LAVENDER AND GOLD
This is another look that I’ve been wearing often. It’s got a bit of colour added to a basic nude look but it’s not wild or bright or really out there. I put the shade base all over my lid and blended soul into the crease. I then pressed summer onto the lid and used dreamer in the inner corner.
My mascara is, once again, Too Faced Better Than Sex and the lipstick for this look is Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillowtalk.
What are some eyeshadow palettes you’ve been loving? What would you like to see in the next three way?
