November 2018: Before

I’m going to be starting a series on my blog where I start a month talking about my goals, my dreams, my hopes, and the things I’m looking forward to. Then end it with a recap of the month and maybe even list a few favourites like any good lifestyle blogger/youtuber.

October is coming to an end. My favourite month is heading out. November is sometimes a bit of a blah month. At least for those of us who don’t have Thanksgiving to look forward to. This year, I have something to look forward to, though! At the end of the month, I will be going to Cancun for a friend’s wedding and I am super excited. I have never been to a resort like this before so I am looking forward to laying on the beach!

On a sadder note, my best friend and room mate is moving out. She’s following her heart and heading back home to the other side of the country at the end of October. I am incredibly proud of her and excited for the next step. Living without her is going to be strange but at the same time, I’m looking forward to living alone for the first time in my life!

So for this month, I’ve got a few things that I’m excited for and I’ve got a few things that I want to get done. I’ve got a list of to-dos that I will be planning on accomplishing. I’m also kiiiiiiiind of thinking of doing NANOWRIMO. I’ve tossed around the idea of doing it for years now but I’ve always got some reason not to. If you’re not familiar, NANOWRIMO (National Novel Writing Month) takes place in the month of November and it’s when the participants attempt to start and complete a novel of 50,000 words in just the month.

The main goal for November, however, is cleaning. This is my ‘spring cleaning’ month. I’ll be going through my things, de-cluttering and re-organizing. I’ll be dealing with all of my stress and all of my sadness by moving furniture around and changing up my place. That is all I am going to be doing for the entire month of July and I am looking forward to that.

Then I get to pack and go away for the last week, spend some time on a beach and see my friend get married. I can’t wait.

What are your plans for November? Anything coming up that you’re excited about?
